Terms of use
The agreement between you and DraftNode, in plain words.
What DraftNode is
DraftNode helps you finish your own work: it checks and formats documents, manages references, and drafts sections from the material you provide. You stay the author and you are responsible for what you submit.
Using it honestly
- Follow your institution’s rules on AI and on academic integrity. If they require you to disclose AI help, use the AI-use statement DraftNode gives you.
- Don’t use DraftNode to produce work you will pass off as your own without the permission your institution requires, to get around plagiarism or AI detection, or to write for someone else for payment.
- Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to use, or anything unlawful.
- We may pause or close accounts that break these rules, and refuse requests that our AI provider’s policies don’t allow.
Payments and refunds
Prices are shown before you pay and are charged once; nothing renews. Drafting pages are taken only for text actually written. If a paid job fails and can’t be completed, we refund it. If you believe you were charged in error, write to us within 30 days.
Your content
Your documents belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service. We don’t claim any rights over them and don’t use them to train AI models.
What we promise, and what we don’t
We apply the formatting requirements you give us and check references against real records, and we tell you exactly what we changed. We can’t guarantee that a supervisor, examiner or institution will accept a document: that depends on its content, their judgement, and requirements we may not know about. Before you submit, compare the finished file with your department’s latest requirements.
Independence
DraftNode is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by any university, college or examining body, and it doesn’t claim to apply any institution’s guidelines. DraftNode formats to the requirements you provide. An institution name you type for your own cover page is your text, printed as you wrote it.
